Tim Booth.

And unless James are touring, which might be unlikely, that will be all.

Saw Roddy Woomble ( Idelwild singer ) in Stirling on Friday. Truly amazing evening of self-written Scottish folk music of which I am not normally a fan, but he has a remarkable voice & the 3 band members he had playing with him were all brilliant musicians. I have not stopped playing his first solo album since I bought it when it came out 2006 & it must be in my top 10 favourite albums. New album coming out in March the material of which sounds just as good.
He's touring the UK soon - go & see him. :D

British Sea Power on Saturday at the Leeds Met, Hopefully Mercury Rev in Manchester and I've a couple of Booth dates lined up too. Hope to see Crystal Fighters when they next tour, oh and I'd love to see Steve Mason at the Deaf Society in Manchester too. His album was a musical highlight for me last year.

Sufjan Stevens just announced his 1st European tour in 5 years. I missed him last time & have been waiting (im)patiently for this. Unfortunately no Scottish dates & although he has a free weekend between London & Newcastle where he could slot in a date or 2, I am away that weekend

Guess it may have to be Newcastle or Manchester then.
