My other Favorites

Postby MikeandJanane » Tue Dec 07, 2010 11:15 pm

I like many bands I guess. Mostly what the radios played back in my home town. I noticed moving from one region to another that radios seem to have their own song types. I've found that radios don't always play the best music!
I do have a long list of favorites. I'll throw some out -

james are my favorite. No other band has made me this addictive.
Led Zeppelin
Bad Company
Beatles
Def Leppard
Billy Squier
Nirvana
Guns-n-Roses
Enigma
Heather Nova
Mazzy Star
School Of Fish
Black Sabbath
Pink Floyd
and many more.. Too many to list!

You missed out Savage Garden ?

I suggest you have a listen to Shed Seven, the added bonus is they are mighty good live

I find myself wanting to listen to some new tunes for the new year. I'll have to check out Shed Seven. Meanwhile, I've been enjoying the new Brandon Flowers solo album. (I'm a fan of The Killers and enjoyed seeing Brandon perform his new songs live in November.) I also picked up the new self-titled Edie Brickell album; the track "Pill" is catchy and the one that's stuck with me. I'm also listening to new stuff by The Decemberists.

We went to see The Killers in Nottingham and I have to say they were fantastic live and had great night. This was helped by the fact the crowd were up for it. :D
