Good stuff TMA, any word on the bonus tracks?.

I'm imagining that 'Faith' is probably the greatest song ever!. 8-)

Thank you.

My promo copy was the eleven tracks only, so the bonus tracks will be a nice surprise.

And I say Love Life is A). An instruction to love the life we lead?. :D

Excuse my ignorance but how did you manage to get a promo copy?

Simply in order to write the review. I got it from the guy handling Tim's PR.

Nice one - maybe I should try that in future.

I would love to write reviews such as yours but unfortunately it would just end up as 'It's great - buy it'. I'm quite envious of the people who can wax lyrical about music, films etc.

I go to gigs & think 'that was great' & know if I am still thinking about it at least the next day then it must be have been special. Only a handful of gigs I have been to over my many, many  years have had me thinking about them several days after so I know they must have been extra special.
Tim Booth at the Cottier Theatre & several James gigs fall into that category as do many others. Some bands/artists I can't even remember if I have seen them or not.
I couldn't even start to compile my top 5 gigs as so many of them have meant so much to me for one reason or another.
( To let you into a secret & being a full-blooded alpha male if the music at a gig makes me emotional then I know it's special - but don't tell anyone especially my missus as she thinks I'm heartless  )

Faith (and Surrender, the amazon bonus track) are quite old songs - I've heard original demos that pre-date Bone. Both are excellent songs that didn't quite fit the mood of that album, but it's great to see they've been rescued, re-recorded and are getting a wider audience.
